The RumbleBox Coalition is a California Public Benefit Corporation, and our story is a simple one:

  • We help prepare residents of San Francisco, particularly those from vulnerable populations, for the next major Bay Area earthquake, by creating 72-hour earthquake survival kits.

  • We supply these kits, which we call RumbleBoxes, with American Medical Association (AMA) approved first aid kits, 3 days of water, Battery Free Hand-Cranked Radio/Flashlight combos, Coast Guard approved Food Rations, can openers, "Go Bags" (duffel bags in case you need to leave your residence), sanitary supplies, disaster tips/documentation and more...

  • We raise funds through online donations, as well as through public and private grants and donations.

  • These funds are put towards the creation and distribution of FREE RumbleBoxes to vulnerable populations, including seniors, those with physical or mental disabilities, those faced with poverty, and other worthy recipients.

  • All RumbleBox 72-Hour Earthquake Survival Kits are provided FREE OF CHARGE to our recipients.
